I want to learn how to play the piano but I dont want to want to take any lessons. I have a keyboard that I can practice on. What are some good books to buy. What do I need to do in order to read music and learn proper technique. Thanks.

I really want to to learn piano, but I’m kinda worried I won’t learn so much within an year.
If I indulge myself liek crazy on it, will I be somewhat close to mastering it?

If I started playing piano next week, had a lesson every week, and practiced everyday, how long would it take until I’d be able to comfortably play it? I know there’s no way to actually measure the time since it varies, but just an approximate time.

I’m an adult taking piano lessons and I am trying to learn the chords. Does anyone have advice on how to learn them? Are there any mnemonic devices? Any helpful exercises?
Anything that’s online (and free)?
Thank you!

I’m learning guitar, and the tips of my finger are numb from holding down the strings. Now it’s really hard for me to play the piano because I can’t feel the keys. What should I do?
I’ve been playing piano for a long time.

I’ve played piano for a little over 10 years now. I play mainly classical music but I’m getting into more contemporary stuff. I’m playing for a high school assembly when school starts back up again and I hope to WOW some of my classmates but they don’t seem to be too interested in classical stuff. So what’s something contemporary or something difficult that my high school classmates will enjoy and be impressed by?
