–Is piano sheet music read for both measure lines: bass and treble. I have no clue? I’ve been self-teaching myself piano songs on youtube for a while, but due to a virus, my computer can’t play youtube videos anymore. How can I get free sheet music?

So I decided I would love to learn how to play the piano.
I played the flute for about 4 months (having never played an instrument before) and my teacher said I was really good for being a beginner. So I’m hoping that I would learn piano easier too.
How long do you think it would take to learn how to play. Not amazingly, but decent enough??
I’m 17 btw.
Thanks!

I am planning to start learning to play piano. Because of my work schedule, I cannot enroll in any class. So I am planing to learn using books and software like Adventus piano studio.
I want to know in how much time I can expect myself to be able to play piano.
In how much time do people usually learn to play?

I’ve always found it interesting to play piano, but I think I will like it. I do not want to invest hundreds upon hundreds of dollars into it. I would prefer to start out with something cheap like a keyboard and learn via an instructional book. What should I get? I was at Target and saw a keyboard with fewer keys than the piano style. Is there a difference? I would like to mock a real piano electronically as much as possible. What are the best books to learn? What should I buy? I dont know anything about music!

I have played the saxophone for many years and am very proficient in reading music and theory, but I’d like to learn how to play piano well. I took a few lessons many years ago but have forgotten how to play. What’s a good book that I can get to help me relearn piano?
Basically, I’m looking for a beginner’s piano book that doesn’t teach me music basics – just how to play piano.

Many people have learned to play piano, using one finger chords, and the key changer, which means they would not be able to play a boogie.
Have you heard boogie piano, and would you like to learn to play it?
Or, do you already play boogie woogie?

I’m playing guitar pretty good right now, but I figured… It’s kinda easy to learn that if you try, but yet I’ve been playing piano for a year and, while being pretty good (I just figured out two songs by ear), I can’t combine both hands, therefore… I generally have nothing. Well, nobody’s gonna pay a teacher to teach me, sooo… What’s the best way to learn piano, aside from having a teacher?

Is there a website that has instructions, or whats a good book to buy? I am a beginner in all the aspects of the word. The only thing I really know is what each note is. Aka, whole note, half note, etc. But, as for reading and being able to play piano music, I have no skill.
I have a piano to practice on, so thats not a problem. I just need help learning how to play it. Any suggestions on where to start?
Well, I dont need motivation, I can do that pretty well. Everyone in the family that plays, aka, my dad, uncle, uncle, aunt…and I think Great Uncle, but he can’t do much now. But, they all play without reading notes. They hear a song and in about 20 minutes, they can play it on the piano. So, I don’t really have anyone who knows how to read music and whatnot.

What is the best website on the internet to learn piano. I want to teach myself piano and like the idea of online instruction with videos. I have a Midi keyboard and several software keyboard programs if that helps.
