you need to have a heart like a child to start learning it. clean. interest. do not jump into desire for fast progress. patience. start putting table tennis balls in both your palms to have beautiful hand structure to run on piano. if your teacher ask you to count 4, count it to full. it’s patience and passion. i am a piano player that has gone for presentation. good luck!
